- $8 for everyone
*All internet ticket sales are subject to a $0.50 surcharge per ticket.
All events, prices, and times are subject to change without notice. We host a variety of special events with a range of ticket prices.
Metro Cinema Passes
Silver Screen Pass – $300/year (GST included)
Metro’s Silver Screen pass gets you a single non-transferable admission to more than 800 Metro screenings each year, and some screenings by partners and renters of the Garneau.* This is your gateway to a year of great film experiences! The Silver Screen pass also gets you the following benefits:
- Membership in the Metro Cinema Society. Help shape the future course of the society.
- Free popcorn at screenings on the first of every month.
Silver Screen passes can be used to book online in advance, or at the theatre.
Purchase a Silver Screen online, or at the theatre.
* Many of our presenting partners honour Silver Screen passes, but some can’t. Some of our events involve food or very small audience sizes, so we have to charge everyone for admission. But we don’t do that very often. We promise!
Cinema Six-Pack – $70 (GST included)
The six-pack is the ultimate in flexibility – get six tickets*, used whenever you want, in whatever combination you choose. That’s a 20% saving off our usual low prices. Six Pack tickets can only be redeemed in person.
Student/Senior Six-Pack – $60 (GST included)
Just like the general admission six pack, but even more affordable.
Night at the Movies – $35 (GST included)
This package includes two admissions to a regular-priced Metro Cinema screening, a medium popcorn and two medium fountain drinks. Night at the Movies tickets can only be redeemed in person.
Series and Festival Passes
Metro Cinema hosts and produces film festivals, filmmaker retrospectives and special series all year long. Often, we offer passes and packages that give you great discounts and access to special events.
All pass admissions (just like all ticket sales) are subject to availability.
Metro Cinema passes are also available to purchase at our box office.
