The Animated Films of Priit Parn

Priit Pärn is one of Eastern Europe's most celebrated animators, someone known as an artist who stretches the medium in ways that are both exciting and a little bit terrifying. Metro is please to present two programmes of his work, which show the evolution of Pärn's art over four decades. We have also published a short booklet about Pärn's work, featuring an essay by Chris Robinson, director of the Ottawa International Animation Festival and author of the book Between Genius and Utter Illiteracy: A Story of Estonian Animation.
