REEL Learning: All That Jazz

All That Jazz is a master class on a life in the theatre - it shows the toll, as well as the joy, of the creative process. It is also an amazing piece of thinly veiled autobiographical filmmaking by Bob Fosse, an artist who straddled the cinema, musical theatre, and television arts.

REEL Learning: King Kong (1933)

A film crew goes to a tropical island for an exotic location shoot and discovers a colossal giant gorilla who takes a shine to their female blonde star. He is then captured and brought back to New York City for public exhibition.

REEL Learning: Waste Land

On the outskirts of Rio de Janiro is Jardim Gramacho, the world's largest landfill, where men and women sift through garbage for a living. Artist Vik Muniz produces portraits of the workers and learns about their lives.
