Spotlight: Terry Gilliam

Film director, animator, screenwriter, actor, comedian and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe, Terry Gilliam has directed 13 feature films. His films explore the theme of imagination and its importance to life, while expressing his opposition to bureaucracy and authoritarianism. Overtly original, unique, and surreal, there are few to equal Gilliam’s creativity.
