Turkey Shoot: On Deadly Ground
USA
1994,
100 min,
Dir: Steven Seagal
Co-produced, directed by and starring the humble Steven Seagal, this movie is that rare combination - an action film/environmental lecture. We think it should be re-titled "An Insufferable Truth". Seagal plays Forrest (get it?) Taft, a mystical martial artist/environmentalist, who's out to teach a lesson to an evil oil corporation (headed by Michael "I'll act in anything" Caine). Reviewer Michael Dequina of RottenTomatoes.com called it "a vanity project in the strongest sense of the term, this film has it all: bad acting, bad writing, bad direction, bad action sequences."
