An aristocrat with connections to the royal court decides to try his hand at writing erotic novels for the masses, and is more successful than he ever expected.
Forbidden Quest is a 2006 South Korean drama. The story recounts part of the life of a scholar, during the Joseon Dynasty, who begins to write erotic novels, and becomes the lover of the King's favorite concu- bine. Approximately 2,200,000 people saw the film in Korea.
Starring Han Suk-kyu, Lee Beom-soo, Kim Min-jeong, Oh Dal-soo, Kim Roi-ha, An Nae-sang, Woo Hyun, Kim Ki-hyun. Cinematography by Kim Ji-yong.
