A father hopes against the odds to have his developmentally challenged boy Dong-gu graduate from elementary school, but school officials are pushing him to transfer to a special school for disabled children. Hope comes when the school baseball team, which is desperate for players, lets Dong-gu sign up.
Bunt is a Korean drama about a developmentally challenged boy who always teased in school. Dong Gu (Choi Woo Hyuk) is an 11-year-old boy with an IQ of only 60. Dong Gu's teachers want to transfer him to a special institute, and his father (Jung Jin Young) just wants him to live as normal a life as possible. In order to stay in school, bumbling Dong Gu joins the baseball team which is in need of members. He is initially of little use for the team until they discover his ability to bunt.
