TWO EXTRA SCREENINGS! - We've scheduled two extra screenings of the World's Hottest Commercials, on Thursday, May 21 @ 7pm and 9pm.

A fundraiser for the Edmonton International Film Festival, the World’s Hottest Commercials is a compilation of the winning television spots as chosen by an international panel of judges at the 49th annual Clio Awards held in Miami, Florida. No other city in Canada gets to see this compilation of commercials!

Commercials. You either love ‘em or hate ‘em. It’s important to remember that there is an art form involved in commercial production. Telling a story in 30-seconds (or less) is one of the most creatively challenging jobs there is. We should be able to appreciate a great television commercial the same way we might appreciate a great film or piece of music.

So even if you hate ‘em, come out and support the 23rd Edmonton International Film Festival (gearing up to hit downtown movie theatres from September 25 to October 3rd). A portion of every ticket purchased for the World’s Hottest Commercials goes to EIFF. We hope you also enjoy the Clio Award winning RADIO commercials playing over the sound system as you find your seats.

Tickets are $15 and available only at the door. Sorry, Metro passes don’t apply.
