Nebraska Supersonic
USA 2001, 75 min, Dir: Jeremy Lerman

In Omaha, Nebraska, three buddies - all sub-par French majors - start a business that should not succeed on the vast Great Plains: a bicycle courier service. Through absurd adventures, personal challenges, and while charging only two dollars per 120-mile delivery, their business becomes a resounding success. But will success ruin their friendship? And what's a teriyaki cupcake? And who is "Doody" Judy? Writer/Director Jeremy Lerman brings us this film-festival favorite, a comedy with "The subtly warped style of Bottle Rocket or Swingers." (Timothy Schaffert, The Reader). Co-hosted by Edmonton Bike and Touring Club. Preceded by A Canadian Touring Tale.

Please Note:
Citadel renovations are ongoing, so Metro Cinema continues to screen in the Rice Theatre, just down the hall from our normal room. Until we return to the Zeidler, screenings will continue to be from video, and not from 35mm.
Also, all Silver Screen passes are good for 3 months past their normal date of expiry, to thank you for your patience.
