DEDfest: Hellberta’s Horror Festival and Metro Cinema Society invites filmmakers to submit their recently completed, horror related works to DEDfest, Hellberta, Canada’s celebration of horror film and horror culture.
For four days in October, we will unleash the best in independent horror films and shorts from around the world. If you’d like to be a part of the mayhem, and your submission meets the criteria listed below, send us a preview copy of your film (on DVD only) along with the DEDfest submission form.
To be eligible:
- Your work has been completed in the last 18 months
- Your feature film has a running time of 60-150 minutes
- Your short film has a running time of 5-20 minutes
- Your film MUST be related to the HORROR GENRE.
The submission form is here. When submitting, please include a brief description of your work (including year of completion and original production format) as well as an artist's biography.
Preview copies may be submitted on DVD only. Artists whose work is included in the program will be paid the CARFAC rate for film/video screenings. There is no submission fee.
The deadline for submissions is 5:00pm on August 31, 2009. Please send your COMPLETED AND SIGNED entry form, and your submission to:
