All screenings @ Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, 9828 - 101A Ave
These films contain all the elements we've grown to expect in home movies, but always with a twist. There's a lot more frankness and sexy hi-jinks than in your parent's old Super8's. There are animals and kids - but they're spookier than they are cute. There are snapshots of mundane domesticity that will baffle and amaze you (and make you feel better about the state of your own kitchen floor). And there are travel films more eloquent than that stuff you shot out your car window last summer.
Includes work by Alexandre Larose, Ashleigh Brown, Brenna George, Clint Enns, Jason Britski, Jim Verburg, Kim Sheppard, Michael Rollo, Riaz Mehmood, Rick Raxlen, Ryan Stec & Veronique Couillard, Tom Sherman, Tracy German and Trevor Anderson. Curated by Leslea Kroll, Tim Folkmann and Marsh Murphy.
- Feb 11 @ 7pm

Citadel renovations are ongoing, so Metro Cinema continues to screen in the Rice Theatre, just down the hall from our normal room. Until we return to the Zeidler, screenings will continue to be from video, and not from 35mm.
Also, all Silver Screen passes are good for 3 months past their normal date of expiry, to thank you for your patience.
