All screenings @ Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre, 9828 - 101A Ave
The premiere screening of MZD's Bad Lands (Good Luck), an international and interdisciplinary creation that challenges current notions of dance performance, technology, home and environment. Shot live in the raw and desolate Badlands of Alberta and among the urban/human architecture of Edmonton, a group of dancers travel through time itself on a journey of oneness. Bad Lands (Good Luck) is a cross cultural collaboration between choreographers Hideo Arai of Dance Labo Karadakara (Tokyo), MZD Artistic Director Gerry Morita, and composer Mika Shibue (Tokyo), performing with dancers Jeannie Vandekerkhove, Adrian LaChance, Eryn Tempest and Chris Bullough, directed on location in Drumheller by filmmaker David Jeffrey Buchanan. Shot by Andrew Scholotiuk.

Citadel renovations are ongoing, so Metro Cinema continues to screen in the Rice Theatre, just down the hall from our normal room. Until we return to the Zeidler, screenings will continue to be from video, and not from 35mm.
Also, all Silver Screen passes are good for 3 months past their normal date of expiry, to thank you for your patience.
