First off is exploitation legend Jack Hill’s 1975 masterpiece Switchblade Sisters A.K.A. The Jezebels. In this Shakespeare-by-way-of-Russ-Meyer epic, a young rebel named Maggie is recruited into the Dagger Debs, a hard-ass female gang led by the seductively mean-spirited Lace. Maggie and Lace become fast friends, but that friendship is tested when Lace’s main squeeze, Dom, turns his wandering eyes to Maggie. When Dom is killed by a rival gang leader, the Dagger Debs must put aside their differences and take on their enemies in an all-out, leather and lace, roller derby battle to the death! DEDsploitation Cinema gets down and dirty with our second double feature: a sleazy night of depravity featuring two of the nastiest “girls gone wild” films ever to soil the big screen! In addition to these two depraved celluloid classics, we’ll have our usual selection of vintage grindhouse trailers on 35mm, prizes galore, and some special surprises from the girls of E-Ville Roller Derby and the Keyhole Kittens Burlesque troop. Make sure you’ve got lots of soap… you’re going to need a shower after our evening of sleaze!
