Films can be a great way to start a conversation. MEMI (Medieval and Early Modern Institute) invites you to join us for an evening of edu-tainment. We will examine the films’ depictions of the early Mongol empire as statements of the ideologies that would clash in the Cold War. MEMI Director, Dr. Felice Lifshitz, will introduce our film series and Dr. Jelena Pogosjan, a Russian culture expert, will illuminate Alexander Nevsky.
