Global Visions Film Festival is Canada’s longest running documentary film festival celebrating 30 years. Dedicated to presenting socially relevant films from across Canada and around the world and promoting film as catalysts for reflection, discussion, and responsible action, Global Visions shows film and filmmakers can help make a positive, transformative change in people’s lives. Beside film presentation, public workshops and panel discussions with filmmakers and community groups take place during the festival. We have been able to reach a diverse audience and bring them together in a celebration of life and the potential of the human spirit right here in Edmonton, Alberta for 30 years. We aim to do so for another 30!
