On the Road introduces us to the extraordinary richness of the world’s cultures as spoken, sung, intoned, rapped, danced and gestured. Bob Holman has won three Emmys and been dubbed a member of the “Poetry Pantheon” by New York Times Magazine. After the screening, Bob will be joined on-stage by award-winning filmmaker Tom Radford, Metis poet Marilyn Dumont, and Jannie Edwards to talk about vanishing languages/traditions. Presented by the Edmonton Poetry Festival and the Canadian Authors Association.
