IMAA: I Heart Regina
Canada 2010, 75 min, Digital, Dir: Various

What do a lost war hero, a head injury, two socially isolated brothers, and an off-colour joke have in common? They’re just some of the stories told in I Heart Regina – a feature-length motion picture comprised of 13 films by 14 directors that tell stories of the lives being lived in Regina, Saskatchewan. In the spirit of such films as Paris, je t’aime, and New York, I Love You, I Heart Regina is a single-city anthology film, only set in a far more exotic location: a medium-sized city on the flattest part of the Saskatchewan steppe. While Paris and New York have been visited by millions of tourists and have been the setting for hundreds of films, Regina has been in the realm of the uncharted, the unknown, and dare we say…the unfathomable. Until now.
