The Film and Video Arts Society – Alberta (FAVA) is serving up some hot new entrees at the Main Course screening. This premiere screening showcases the work of our intermediate film class. These emerging filmmakers bring their newly acquired skills to their own short film through all stages of development and shoot on such cameras as the SR3, Arri III, HVX, RED or EPIC camera. Students learn budgeting, scheduling, advanced camera and production technique, advanced post-production workflow including sound mix and color correction. The class culminates here at Metro where the audience gets a chance to dip into a diverse range of content and style.
