Dante Hicks is a slacker who works at a New Jersey Quick Stop, while his best friend Randall works at the video store around the corner. Their apathy for their jobs is equaled only by the absurdity of their customers, and today will be no exception, even if it was supposed to be Dante’s day off. Kevin Smith burst onto the scene with this independent film that turned into one of the most profitable of all time. Spawning a legion of die-hard fans, tie-ins, a sequel, and plethora of recurring appearances by Smith and cohort Jason Mewes as the now famous odd-couple Jay and Silent Bob.
