Tetsuo, The Iron Man is a fever dream of industrial-cyberpunk-body horror, a monument to the bizarre, and a beacon of underground oddity. Looking like the twisted metal baby of Lynch, Cronenberg, & Giger, Tetsuo is a landmark of extreme Japanese Cinema. It all starts when The Metal Fetishist gets hit by a car and exacts a strange and terrifying revenge on the driver, a lowly salaryman who begins to sprout scrap metal from deep inside his flesh. This film brought Tsukamoto to the forefront of cinema and marked him out as a director with unique and singular vision. To date there have been 2 sequels to Tetsuo the most recent of which came out in 2009. Join Bizarro on a trip through a metal hell.
