The hardscrabble existence of two homeless addicts is portrayed with sensitivity and brutal honesty. A film that refuses to romanticize its characters’ lives while capturing their futility, toil, and frustration with startling power, it’s a testament to the skill of both the filmmaker and the performers that they inspire empathy in us even as we find their actions perplexing and troubling. (Steve Gravestock, TIFF)

Screens with Canada Top Ten short film Emma - (13 min) – Dir: Martin Edralin.

FILM ARTICLE: “In Canadian squalor on the poverty line with a couple barely staying afloat as society and addiction continuously seeks to drag them under into an abyss of forgotten souls.” – The Film Stage
