All Our Father’s Relations (祖根父脈) tells the story of the Grant siblings who journey from Vancouver to China in an attempt to rediscover their father’s roots and better understand his fractured relationship with their Musqueam mother. Raised primarily in the traditions of the Musqueam people, the Grant family and their story reveal the shared struggles of migrants and Aboriginal peoples today and in the past.

In partnership with Reconciliation in Solidarity Edmonton (RISE), and the Edmonton Chinese Young Leaders Council (ECYLC), this film screening, discussion, and surrounding events will launch Edmonton’s Reconciliation Week. Special thank you to Kathryn Lennon, and Miranda Jimmy, for their organization of this event.

Following the screening, please join the organizers for an intimate, post-film discussion at Tang Bistro (8715 109 St - across the street) about the film's themes and what reconciliation means in an Edmonton-Treaty 6.
