A screening of a film unbeknownst to the audience until it begins, Kino Confidential: A Top Secret Screening is a game of chance, a round of film roulette, and the ultimate plot twist! Clues will be posted on our socials in the weeks leading up to the event.
Clues will appear in The Garneau Theatre’s lobby in the weeks leading up to the event with all clues being available for deduction prior to the screening when doors open at 6PM. Prizes will be awarded to those who can guess the title in person at the event before the film begins (we’ll give you a ballot at the box office and collect them all before the film starts).
This will be the first instalment in the 2023/2024 membership year of quarterly “Member Nights” and entitles registered Metro Cinema Members to free entry, a small popcorn, and a small drink. This event is open to the public, with Metro Members benefiting from their membership.
Metro Members can only receive their free admission at the box office. Membership must be registered for in advance AFTER our AGM on November 26, 2023—which you can do here—and eligibility is based on having already volunteered for a minimum of 12 hours, donated $100+, or because you hold an annual Silver Screen Pass. Membership from the previous 2022/2023 year expires at the AGM.
