The Model Minority Film: Asian Canadian Experience Through Performance art

Presented by Rabbits Three Cultural Connections

This will be a screening of the Model Minority stage performance which took place last year. This event features multidisciplinary Asian Canadian artists presenting pieces in movement, music, and cultural arts which provide expression on topics of racism and stereotypes from 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This event is in partnership with the Dr. Gordon Hirabayashi Anti-Racism Initiative from the Edmonton Japanese Community Association. It is funded by the Prince Takamado Japan Centre, the Film & Video Arts Society of Alberta and the Edmonton Arts Council.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome and will go to the Dr. Gordon Hirabayashi Graduate Scholarship in Sociology. Please RSVP on Eventbrite.
