An English librarian called Evelyn Carnahan becomes interested in starting an archaeological dig at the ancient city of Hamunaptra. She gains the help of Rick O’Connell, after saving him from his death. What Evelyn, her brother Jonathan, and Rick are unaware of is that another group of explorers are interested in the same dig. Unfortunately for everyone, this group ends up unleashing a curse which been laid on the dead High Priest Imhotep and unwittingly set loose a 3,000-year-old legacy of terror.
We’ve hit our first fundraising goal to purchase the new popcorn machine (thanks to all of you!), and want to celebrate with a screening of a much loved “popcorn movie”, a blockbuster if you will. Admission is by donation, and all proceeds will go towards the remainder of our Spring Fundraising Campaign as we focus on reaching that final goal for the new digital projector.
