From Home to Home

In celebration of May Asian Heritage Month, “From Home to Home” is a series that presents two compelling films which delve into the journeys of the Asian Diaspora finding their place in a new “home.” From the portrayal of a Korean family’s pursuit of the American dream in “Minari” to the exploration of navigating dual cultures in “The Farewell,” these films serve as powerful bridges across cultural divides. Together, they remind us of the resilience and complexity inherent in the immigrant experience, weaving a narrative tapestry that resonates long after the credits roll.
