Interested in volunteering?

That’s great. Metro Cinema is a not-for-profit society that relies on the support of volunteers to bring you films that you won’t see anywhere else. There are lots of fun ways to volunteer and it is a great way to get involved and engage with other film fans in the community! Volunteering at least 12 hours annually also qualifies you for Metro Cinema Society membership.

Interested in using your illustration and graphic design skills to help promote Metro Cinema films and events? Join our Volunteer Poster Designing team! Volunteer to Host a Screening

Share your passion for a film with our audiences! Metro needs volunteers to offer curtain speeches before screenings. These are meant to be quick, personal and about 2-10 minutes long, and don’t need to be scholarly dissertations – they can be extremely personal and informal. For more information and to join the team, email director@metrocinema.org.

We would love to hear your comments and questions. Get in touch with our volunteer coordinator at volunteer@metrocinema.org or 780-425-9212.
