Rental Events

Metro Cinema regularly rents the Garneau Theatre to a wide range of individual artists, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. Responsibility for these events, including the content of the presentation, ticketing policies, etc, ultimately rests with the host organization.

Alcohol at the Garneau Theatre

The Garneau Theatre is a licensed venue for the service of alcohol. Metro Cinema is permitted by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) to allow the sale and consumption of alcohol in the Garneau Theatre lobby and auditorium. Service may be suspended for specific events at the discretion of Metro Cinema and our partners.
